1000 bonus points to Cameron for referencing a classic Space Ghost scene.
3D Dot Game Heroes is a shameless Zelda ripoff. Thankfully, no one seems to care, least of all Nintendo. It’s a fun game, and it’s funny too, but not as good as Zelda.

well E3 was full of clones wasn’t it.
Wii game clones on Move. Wii game clones on kinect
Ubisoft’s stand seemed to be cloning everything but Clyde.
The thing about Zelda clones is, I’ve given up trying to like them. Gimme Zelda or don’t bother

re. Kinect games:
Kinectimals seems really cute, my kid would love that.
I gotta say I’m intrigued by the camera-aware petgame for the PSP. For my kid, you understand.
I have 4 cats and don’t need any more animal interaction.
My problem isn’t with clones per se, it’s with non-descript games of middling-to-low budget that sit on the shelf and offer no reason to buy the damn thing.
Deliver excellence or just stay home, dammit… you’re cluttering up the shelves.
Speaking of clones, if anyone delivers a Tribes clone for the X-Box… I’m there, dammit.
I finally got around to watching the Nintendo E3 press conference (just missed the presentation by Reggie, sadly — his appearances on A-G and C1 have intrigued me) and wow Goldeneye looks about 10 years old. I hope the gameplay is fun.
Oh yes, I’ve discovered the definition of frustration: talking a 4-year-old through a portal level.

I think the thing that you need to have (in life in general, I suppose) is to be discerning. I’m not always as discerning as I would like (my purchase of Just cause 2 proves this)

Yep, that’s why I rent before I buy, when I’m in doubt.

Awww. I really like Just Cause 2. It’s like a mix of Crackdown and Red Faction Guerrilla.
