Seems a bit silly to trust all my data to someone else's computer, and then pay a subscription fee for the privilege! My iMac really, REALLY wants me to sign up for MobileMe, but I just don't see the point. I'm pretty sure I can handle the sync process between my computer and my iPhone myself, thank you! All this cloud talk seems like a way to grab investment dollars. I agree with the theory that the cloud won't work right now, but in the hands of a megacorporation with shitloads of money, it will flourish. Kind of like the old XBand online gaming service that was out during the 16-bit era. Shitty service, but a solid concept.
