Man, I’ve had my fair share of gaming surprises. There were tons of games that I didn’t think were my type at first, but which I’d later be addicted to. I had all kinds of reasons for not being interested in these games, too, like with Warcraft II (too complicated), Civilization II (even more complicated), Jak & Daxter 1 (reminded me of Banjo-Kazooie which I hated), Ratchet & Clank (too kiddy), Spartan Total Warrior (bland reviews), Fallout 3 (too much like Oblivion), and more. After giving these games a fair chance, I came to love them. I really need to learn to not let the hype and ads of today’s gaming market to blind me. Like right now it seems like the only game that’s out in the world is Mass Effect 2. I have to learn to ignore that shit and dig deeper. There might be some gems out there I’m missing!
also we've started recording a few extra retro podcats to have in the can so there's no disruption in service while I go off galavanting 4 days ago
Caved and bought Lara Croft GoL. Enjoying it somewhat more than my Halo 3 (still progressing) replay. 4 days ago
looks like only US, Canada, UK and Mexico are affected. Funny how Sonyland countries are unaffected. oh and MS- there's this thing called $5 4 days ago
Xbox Live is going to get more expensive. I wonder if a US$10 hike is going to translate into a 10, 15 or 20 hike for us in Oz. 4 days ago
