		<description>There were Gauss Guns in Syndicate and Half-Life, though I wouldn&#039;t be surprised if they&#039;ve turned up in other games. In Syndicate, I think the Gauss Gun functioned like a rocket launcher, while in Half-Life, it was a &quot;imma chargin&#039; mah lazer&quot; type gun.

Yes, Fallout 3 is Oblivion with guns, but I think that&#039;s a good thing. First-person shooting is a hell of a lot more fun than first-person swordfighting. The game is just so rich with atmosphere, humor, hidden areas, weird weapons, treasures to collect and to trade, and all those perks that make leveling up fun again, that I happily logged over sixty hours with it before finally beating it. I didn&#039;t even get around to all of the quests. I&#039;m apprehensive about starting a new game so I can finish those quests, and play the DLC, because I know I will pour another ton of my life into it.

Anyway, great focus test on a great game. It was too short, though!</description>
