If you're worried about being admonished- just turn the Voicechat off. L4D is good. I did have more fun with Singleplayer myself because the people I played with weren't as good as the AI. That said, select Quickmatch and it matches you to people who are just as noobish- on PC anyway. After TF2 on 360- I'm not sure I trust Valve to get console netcode right probably. Maybe it's the characters muttering "Reloading!" every five seconds. Maybe it's the bland graphics. Maybe it's the lack of an overarching storyline. Maybe it's the fact that I expect to get harassed for being a "n00b" whenever I make a mistake online. Am I building these problems up too much?
